During this class I have learnt quite a lot about myself as an individual and how I relate to the society

and life in general. From the first day I was allowed to see the various tools I have at my disposal to be

able to self- reflect. The insights provided by my fellow classmates throughout this seminar have been

quite helpful in the engagement of self reflection.

One of my greatest take-away from this class is that distraction is one of the biggest enemies to spiritual

and personal development. I learnt that by setting goals and staying focused on deadlines I will

definitely be able to live much more comfortably in terms of how I relate to distractions which come in

various forms in my daily thoroughfare. It was a very in-depth analysis of each classmates idea of

distractions and how to deal with each as they come about and how each of us tried to help each other

with identifying ways to deal with distractions.

I was very intrigued by the way in which we all came together to create a wonderful poem which

showed how important it is to collaborate with others to have the end result as a masterpiece.

Our art session brought our thoughts out on paper in such an artistic way in that each person’s ideas

and thoughts were eloquently stated with different colors of paint and colorful paper.

The video we saw in class held our attention and showed how by caring for others and by doing all we

can to volunteer for a cause that will allow us to feel better about ourselves and enhance the

betterment of less fortunate individuals.
