A) Task description per competence:

1. Taking initiative: I took external information to have a more clear vision of the task I was given. I took as good as possible responsibility for the tasks I have done.

Self-evaluation: During a meeting the members proposed a project. I offered my help. The members were glad that I took initiative.

2. Solution targeting: I tried to solve problems of financial products with doing a research in Islamic books.

Self-Eval: I can measure the complexity of a financial product. To find a solution for different products is not always that easy.

3. Eternal study: I need to learn a lot. I am reading books about Islamic banking to better understand this topic.

Self-Eval: I try to prepare myself as good as possible for this sector. I am very interested in Islamic banking.

4. Customer targeting: I don’t have direct contact with customers. If I contact any customer I try to find information about the subject and try to explain it to the customer.

Self-Eval: I try to stay calm. I am ready to take extra courses for customer service.

B) Specific competences:

5. Informatics application: Albaraka Türk uses the ‘IBM Lotus’ program. I also use Word and Excel. The company also uses the program ‘AS-400’.

Evaluation: I can use the program AS-400 in normal circumstances. If complex situations are given I mostly need help. I can use Word & Excel very good. IBM Lotus is an easy program to use.

6. Searching and controlling information: I was given the opportunity to search about Islamic Banking in the library. I also did a lot of research at home.

Evaluation: The daily tasks that I received were executed without problems. I try to search as much as information as possible about subjects, which I have insufficient knowledge in. I sometimes need assistance for complex tasks.

7. Organizing communication channels: The most used program is IBM Lotus
