Reflection of Design Project

The design project was really cool and entertaining. There are a few improvements and tweaks to the whole process that i have in mind. Caden and I could have could have worked harder during the whole process, most importantly at the end. Wiring took up too much time in my opinion and was actually too stressful. We probably goofed off a bit too much as well and could have completed the device much earlier if we had worked at the desired rate. We didn't slack off the whole time but we could have definitely improved on diligence.

The Rube Goldberg idea seemed amazing at first when the class was watching videos of various Goldberg devices. We should have examined how hard they are to make and exactly how we could have tried to make the Goldberg devices better and more efficient We were just awestruck, so we decided that making these projects like that would be a great idea. Each project's constraints and limitations made it harder to use as a Goldberg device. Activating the next project with a part of your project was a bad idea. I knew it from the beginning. The way that these design projects are made to be built is individually, not in a Goldberg fashion. If the Goldberg style of building had been taken out, the total outcome of our projects would have been much better. Overall I feel this project was very fun and creative but a tad bit stressful as well.
