Re: Accountant/ Assistant Accounts Officer
I would like to indicate an expression of interest for the above two vacancies that were advertised in the Fiji Times on Saturday April 6th, 2013.
Qualifications:
* I had graduated with a Bachelor in Commerce (Majors Accounting and Banking) from the University of the South Pacific in April 2011.
* Currently completing the first trimester Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce (Professional Accounting) with the University of the South Pacific.
Work Experience
* Upon completion of the Bachelor in Commerce I was employed by the Bank of South Pacific as a Customer Service Enquiries/ Teller Officer until the end of 2012.
Even thou I may not have the necessary track record for the above position/s I strongly believe that if given a space of a few weeks and driven into the right direction that I will be able to fulfil the desired potential employee that BYC Institute Limited is looking for in an accountant. I do believe that I have the qualities and characters that are required which are:
* Flexibility to work long and flexible hours to get the job done
* Ability to be a self-starter.
* Ability to deliver the results needed in a timely manner
* Can work and produce result when working under pressure.
* Socialising (interpersonal skills)
* Presenting to a group
* Have experience to work with minimum supervision
In addition if given an opportunity to work for BYC Institute Limited for the advertised position/s I strongly believe that I’ll possess an added advantage due to my past experience in the banking industry. With that knowledge it can be beneficial not to only myself but BYC as a whole in regards to any company banking matters.
