What role does business communication play in your day-to-day work activities?

We all know the initial greeting can set the tone of a business transaction/communication, whether in person or over the phone and can either make or break the entire business conversation/transaction. This can encompass everything from tone of voice to connectivity issues, to hold music, phone prompts and/or delays, this can be critical in how the customer and/or employee relate and do business in the future

Communication in the work place occurs when what is heard is the same as what is said, this involves two components: the sender of the message and the receiver of the message. Effective communicators understand that the message they are sending may be received in a variety of ways depending on the individual background of the receiver. The effectiveness or ineffectiveness of business communications can impact day-to-day work activities in many ways. It is important for workers and managers alike to recognize the importance of ensuring that everyone has a complete understanding of all communications, which take place.

Depending on the equipment businesses use functionality, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) capabilities can be different as day and night. The right equipment and training can come off as a newly hired desk jockey or a seasoned, well knowledgeable professional who knows the clients and or employees/bosses needs or wants. Utilized correctly can make the difference of a business succeeding or failing.

How does it help you manage your daily activities?

Up to date phones systems, computer software and customer relationship management training can assist me in staying on task and optimize my time management, and this is key to a successful business. Depending on how well you utilize your software and the tools you are given, your time can be managed much more wisely and stay on point.
