Abortion is a universal topic that has been debated over centuries, with all sides having very strong feelings and beliefs. Proponents of abortion base their arguments solely on civil rights. They believe that if a woman doesn’t have the choice to control what affects her body and potentially life, then all her human rights are stripped away (Lowen).
