To support internal collaboration efforts, coke created something it calls its Common Innovation Framework. Using the innovation framework, anyone from any of the operating units worldwide can search for, find, and apply concepts, strategies, and development successes, and marketing approaches that have been used elsewhere in the organization.

2. Standardization is the process of developing and implementing technical standards. Supply Chain Management tracks inventory and information along business processes and across companies and SCM system is an IT system that supports supply chain management activities by automating the tracking of inventory and information among business processes and across companies. Standardization is important in supply chain management because everyone involved with the organization would be able to all use the same technology and be on one accord which would make the whole operation run more efficiently streamlined.

I think coke would not charge the bottlers for these software services because it would be benefitting coke more if they used that software and causing them to actually reduce the expenses.

3. One type of e-collaboration described in this case study is work activities with integrated collaboration environments. In this case study coke originated software for all coke bottlers around the world. This actually made their business more efficient because everyone is actually able to be on the same page or rather speak the same language in a sense.
