Question number 1:

The term Politics

In my understanding, politics are used as the ideal mean to manage over the society. The Government is to the political association that regulates the society with set of rules and regulations. As such, the term politics are always accompanied with the government, which is to manage and control a nation. However, this doesn’t make the term politic solely referring to the political issues of a government. The politics, in the broader extent, is a process by which group of people to make decision process in which involves people relation, agreement, interaction and acceptance. It can merely be understood as the power to influence another’s behavior. For example, a family can set its own politic system with set of rules and regulation to manage the member in the family. In another example, a company usually sets its own policy and regulations to run its business.

In brief, politic is essentially and generally accompanied with a government. However, it is a term applied in any group, organization. It is the process of making decision of people and can be applied anywhere, anytime and by any group.

What a person can obtain when he/she knows about the political background

In a broader aspect, he can also defends for other’s rights and contribute the government regulations and policy system to make it more optimal.
