InterClean, Inc. has seen many successes after the acquisition of EnviroTech. New talented sales team has been put together with the goal of penetrating all corners of the healthcare industry by providing full range of cleaning services. This sales team needs both intrinsic and extrinsic reward system that provides motivation, trust, and satisfaction. As a result, this compensation plan will present a proposal to InterClean’s Human Resources Management on an effective compensation plan needed by the sales team to be successful.

Firstly, InterClean, Inc.’s compensation package will offer “security and health, payments for time not worked, and employee services to all employees. Within each of these categories there is a bewildering array of options”(Cascio, 2005, p. 496). The sales teams will need all three packages in order to attract and retain the best sales professionals. Therefore, InterClean sales team will be offered the following security and health benefits:

1. Short and long term insurance

2. Worker’s compensations

3. Short and long term disability insurance

4. Flexible Spending Account

5. Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs)

6. Other medical coverage

7. Sick and medical leave

8. Pension plans

The payments for time not worked would include the following:

1) Vacations

2) Holidays

3) Approved leave of absence

4) Sick days

5) Maternity leaves

6) Medical Leaves

The employee services with the sales team would be made up of the following:

1. Stock Purchase Plan

2. Legal services and counseling

3. Fitness and wellness programs

4. Tuition Assistance Program

5. Domestic partner benefits

6. Child care centers

7. Child adoption
