Natural ingredients in fruits and vegetables commonly referred to as healing properties that can aid in the cure of colon cancer.

There are two types of risk factors for developing colon cancer, those that decrease the risk and those that increase the r risk. One can change the ones related to lifestyle with what we eat, and environmental exposure. one cannot change any of the other biological factors that may predispose one to developing colon cancer, such as, age or race. The risk of getting colon cancer increases as we get older. Colon cancer is also higher in the African American communities and those that are of European descent. Each day, the things we do and are exposed to be considered lifestyle factors. Unlike the uncontrollable risk factors above, lifestyle risk factors are controlled mostly by the lifestyle we live.

Eating poorly is the main factor for acquiring colon cancer. Foods that are high in fat, sugar, sodium, and iron are linked to being main factors that increase the chances of getting colon cancer.
