Aspirations

▌ Can you describe the most enjoyable and ideal way of working and why you feel that way about it?

I think there are several components of this “ideal way”. Only “Enjoyable” is a childish approach, in my opinion other components are:

• Believing in value of what you do, believing in and targeting results, not just enjoyment of process;

• Passion to learn and develop yourself. Standing still, you don’t get anywhere and even if your business seems successful, you will be passed by young and aggressive competitors very soon.

▌ Could you please describe how ideally you’d like your business to develop over the next 5 years?

I believe in power of brand. Not just a recognizable logo, but reputation that follows us wherever you go, and “word of mouth” that remains the strongest marketing channel.

▌ What are your short and long term business plans?

• Short term – introduce a few new products, open an office in Europe, double annual revenue;

• Long term – turn to a trendsetting, global company with branch network; enable our technologies as standard for event industry.

Idea

▌ Can you describe where your business idea came from?

We ran an integrated project promoting WiMAX broadband technology capabilities. We urgently needed some unusual idea that would make our demonstration more exciting and more “sci-fi”-looking. That’s how we came to an idea of a mobile device-driven game model to be used for sightseeing, training and staff development. Then we funded our own development, and in a few months came to business event market.
