Project Plan Part 3

The purpose of this project plan is to provide our client Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation with a project to implement a new internship t the University of Phoenix. The project team will need to work as a team so they can provide the client with the essential process to ensure that the project is heading in the right direction and will be a success. The project manager must ensure that the client has a clear understanding of the project and constraints that consist of the scope, schedule, quality, resources, risk and budget.

Financial Resources:

Financial resources are the solid framework that helps project managers to deal with the on budget part of the project implementation process according to Erik McConnell, 2011. “This framework involves cost planning and control. For successful delivery of the project product, the project manager should effectively estimate costs, track expenditure over time and adequately react to situations when the financial resources are over-spent or under-spent, or there are opportunities for savings in the project budget” (McConnell, 2011). The following factors of an audit financial resource will include:

Existing finance funds | - Cash balances- Bank overdraft- Bank and other loan- Shareholders' capital- Working capital that are already invested in the business - Creditors |

Ability to raise new funds | - Strength and reputation of the management.- Strength of relationships with existing investors and lenders- Attractiveness of the market in which the business operates. |
