The Importance of Standard Units in Everyday Life

Standard unit is very important in human life. If we don’t have standard unit in life, we will get troubles in economy and industry.

If we want to prevent the hardship in life, we must adopt the standard unit like length, mass, time, temperature and electric current.

Length can be used to measure the length of an object. The symbol of unit is (m). By the way, it also can be measure accurately using the meter ruler and measuring tape. Advantage of length is variable-length instruction saves storage space but disadvantage of length will take more complex to decode.

Mass of the symbol unit is (kg). Mass can measure a person’s weight and things. Mass have quantity of matter in an object and suitable use beam balance, electronic balance and lever balance. Besides, time also an important base unit like counting time and facilitate human. The symbol of units is (s).Time can tell us when we must sleep and wake up.

What is temperature? Temperature is one of those aspects of the everyday world that seems rather abstract when viewed from the standpoint of physics. In scientific terms, it is not simply a measure of hot and cold, but an indicator of molecular motion and energy flow. Temperature of the symbol unit is (K). Besides, electric current is a flow of electric charge. Electric charge flows when there is voltage present across a conductor. The SI unit for measuring an electric current is the ampere.

So, we must learn all standard units and cannot waste them because it have many advantages and it is important in our life.
