1. Introduction

The Xerox Corporation is a global front-runner in document management, business process outsourcing and digital printing equipment. The country has a strong presence in over 160 countries providing cutting edge technology in all the services it provides.

Xerox was started as The Haloid Photographic Company in Rochester, New York in 1906. It later came to be known as Haloid Xerox in 1958 and finally Xerox in the year 1961. Through the 1960s, the company grew tremendously, giving a good reward to all those who had invested and were patient during the research and development phase. The company has always provided real time technological solutions for other businesses through their various processes and document management technology and they continue to do so, putting a high value on the customers’ needs.

Xerox has been growing at a rapid pace acquiring small companies and building its base. The company today is worth over $30 billion with a net income of $1.2 billion in 2012.

2. Ethical Status

Xerox Corporation has always been known to have an environment-friendly approach towards their work and processes. This has been made clear from the company’s values. Their strong commitment towards responsible business practices is very apparent in all things they do.
