There is no doubt that there is a contradiction between what employees want in employees (agreeable employees) and want employees actually do best (disagreeable employees). In the real life, individuals’ personality can’t be with only one dimension. For Example, someone can be very cooperative, good natured and trusting “high on agreeableness” as well he could be high on Conscientiousness, which means that he do greater effort and persistence, more drive and discipline and is well organized which will definitely reflect on higher performance, his leadership behavior is probably more enhanced in the form of persistence, attention to details and setting high standards. Other studies on personality found that traits that matter most for Business success of all about Conscientiousness. Moreover, Successful employees usually make compromises specially when area of conflict is reached and they show more cooperation when they feel that disagreeable will not serve their personal objectives which give the impression as they are high on agreeableness. 

Different jobs sometimes requires different personalities to produce the highest performance. For example, agreeableness would be important in jobs such as social workers and customer service, where the employee is required to assess clients, satisfy customers and be friendly with them. Also, agreeableness will be important for nurses and special-needs teachers as they are required to be friendly, take care of patients, assist students, be warm, kind, and helpful.

However, on the other hand, to create an environment of open communication, leaders must reward and publicize new ideas, encourage dissent from staff and even challenge employees when everyone seems too agreeable. Therefore, the disagreeable employees sometimes can be important in the management system because they can create their own ideas.
