General management as a leader

General management should act as a leader role and guide the division’s manager to link the four divisions as one company. However, the general manager, Don Henson, he is good at accountant but lack of management skills. He should provide a good communication method for all of the divisions to communicate with him. The communication method is too complicated or the general manager is not easy to get reach; therefore, the division manager did not report the purchase orders to him. Moreover, he should have a formal meeting with the division manager especially when the new policy was set, not just send them a notice letter. People will take it more serious when the notice inform them face to face with formal setting. Therefore, manager should learn management skills in order to lead the company to grow further.

Regular meeting and supply chain soft ware

Tighter coordination among its four divisions can help the company to success, but divisions managers do not know their role is to lead their division to grow with efficiency cooperate with the other divisions. Therefore, regular management meeting is necessary to tighter the four divisions managers relationship and work better on their development issues. Regular meeting between them can give them a platform to share each other’s updated information and plans. The new supply chain software can help them to communicate better with e conference setting. Adapt hybrid purchasing strategy
