To increase a team’s performance three key indicators are needed. [The passive voice is a form of "be" (are) and a participle (needed). Over-use of the passive voice can make paragraphs tedious to read and officious. Try to use the active voice most often, e.g., the student completed the paper on time. Motivation is as internal characteristic that bring out external results. Motivation among team members is critical because motivation shows that the team is going in the right direction to achieve a particular goal. Motivation is defined [Passive voice] as the processes that account for an individual’s [Check spelling--remove the apostrophe if the word is not possessive] intensity, direction, and persistence of effort toward attaining a goal (Robbins & Judge, 2007, p. 186).
