Dear Mr. Downing:
I’m writing in respond to your advertisement that mentions the floor manager position; therefore, I submit my CV to you.
During my undergraduate studies at Cornell University, I achieved a GPA of 3.4. While in business school, I concentrated more on my major classes and earned a GPA of 3.8 in my business courses.
In 2007 I received the Lamar Franklin Award (for those who are working to strengthen citizenship in America). You can see from my resume that I used to work as part-time customer service coordinator to gain the experience and earn a portion of my tuition. During my last three years, I was chosen representative to the student governing association.
If my credentials seem appropriate for the position, I would appreciate the opportunity for an interview. I can be reached mark.dalton@gmail.com or by phone at (562) 675-7448.
Thank you for your time. I am looking forward to being a part of your team.
Sincerely,
Mark Dalton

Dear Mr. MacDougall:
Thank you for the great opportunity of considering my application letter and my resume that I've sent to you a while ago. Since then, I have been working on several positions that have helping me preparing for management. Recently, I have become a lunch manager at the restaurant where I work. My everyday job consists of taking the lunch receipts to the bank.
I’m happy to see your company expanding, it has a good reputation among U.S companies which makes me interested in being a part of its team. I would love to contribute to it...
