POLLUTION:
In the words of Odum, “Pollution is an undesirable change in physical, chemical or biological characteristics of air, water and soil that may or will adversely affect human life, industrial progress, living conditions and cultural assets.”

AIR POLLUTION
Air pollution may be defined as the occurrence of foreign particles and gases in the atmosphere which are harmful to man, vegetation, animals and buildings. It is the contamination of air by waste products and other impurities which are harmful to the human life, other creatures, vegetation and buildings. The earth’s atmosphere is an invisible cover of gases that envelops the earth. The air present in the atmosphere is a mixture of gases and water vapours. Air pollution is the systematic damage to the beautiful sunbright ecosystem.
SOURCES OF AIR POLLUTION:
1. NATURAL RESOURCES like forest fires, biological decay, volcanic eruptions, spores, grains, photochemical oxidation etc.
