1. Construct an analysis of public administration at the present moment as it relates to the duties of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government.

Public administration relates to the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government in a plethora of ways. One of the most significant ways that all three branches relate to public administration is the way in which they all seek to change public policy. The administrative side of the executive office advises, assists and helps the president formulate and implement public policy. The executive office of the president includes the OMB or Office of Management and Budget, the National Security Council and the Council of Economic Advisers. The OMB assists the president in preparing the budget and submitting it to congress. This is how the executive branch relates to public administration. The legislative and judicial branch both require direct administrative support; there are also several specific agencies attached to the legislative branch that hold significance. The legislative agencies include: government, printing office, the congressional budget office and the general accounting office.The role of these types of legislative agencies establish the clear relation between public administration and the legislative body. The relationship between administrative agencies and the judiciary derives from the legal foundations of administrative actions. The most dramatic development in the relationship between administrative agencies and the Judiciary body is the involvement of the federal district courts (and some state) in agency administration. This involvement includes decisions on spending, personnel organization and management. The legislative, executive and judicial bodies with their various agencies of government share the process of creating policy, reinforcing policy and revising policy.
