The discussion will be about the fall of Daewoo Motor America. There are four organizational-behaviors, and they will be discussed in this paper. The behaviors are leadership, management and organizational-structure. Leadership

The leadership contributed to the failure of Daewoo Motors of America was poor leadership of the company. What is meant by this is that the company made some bad decisions on bringing the company to America. The company chose to trust an American company to help distribute the product and General Motors failed the company. “Daewoo America's financial difficulty-much of which it blames on the defendants' purported misrepresentations and conduct-led it to seek Chapter 11 bankruptcy relief in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California on May 16, 2002.” (“DAEWOO MOTOR AMERICA INC v. Management

The management team did not think the agreement through. The agreement was not to sell Exhibit A. The company did not look down the line to see if the company had a bad history of not paying their debtors. Just like creditors look at how people pay their bills on time or not on time. Companies should do the same thing.
