MACAU HAUNTED HOUSE

Like many of you, I don’t believe in ghosts because what cannot be seen should simply not exist. After this experience, I cannot say I don’t believe it anymore. It really freaked me out. Let me start the story from the beginning. My classmate is from USA and his name is Frankie. He was doing his bachelor degree in Macau since 3 years ago. Before Frankie came to Macau for study, he rented a haunted house in Macau. Like many foreigners, they don’t believe in ghost. When he looked for a house, he just wanted a cheaper house in a nice area. In Macau, the haunted house is always cheaper and local people seldom live here because it’s a popular belief that the ghost of a person who died unnaturally will pass misfortune on to the home’s new occupants.

I knew Frankie for more than 10 years. 10 years ago, ICQ was very popular among teenagers in Macau. When I was free, I always made new foreign friends by ICQ. One day, I added Frankie and we started our friendship since then. Our friendship was very closed that we could share everything to each other. Frankie told me that he liked Chinese culture very much. It was probably because I always told him our great China's culture. When Frankie finished his bachelor, he finally could fulfill his dream by going through his bachelor life in Macau. At that moment, I felt amazed and excited as I would finally meet him in person. I saw Frankie on the first day he enrolled the school. He was about 1.8 meters and had a healthy image. Frankie was very handsome. His nose was perfectly symmetrical. His lips were slightly full. His eyes were big blue and daring. His body was so firm and perfectly fit.

Before he came to Macau, he had rented a flat so he also invited me to his flat on the first day I met him. His house was a tenement house in a dark street. He lived on the fourth floor and he needed to go stairs every day. When I reached Frankie’s front floor, the lights in the corridor were blinking, I was freaked out...
