Academic Strategies for the Business Professional

This course has affected in a many different ways, I have gained a great deal of knowledge of myself that I never really thought about, that could be a great deal of an impact to my everyday life, I learned about my different learning styles that I am a visual and kinesthetic learner. The best learning method for me to learn is my being hands on and doing it for myself. With the web explorations I learned to open my mind and use all my search engines to find the information I needed to complete the assignment.

Some key concepts and topics in this course that made me a stronger candidate for the business world would have to be learning to manage my time wisely. I am a horrible procrastinator. I wait till the last minute to finish anything, which is odd also because I am OCD about leaving things unfinished, so when I start something I have to finish the task before I walk away. That is a great key to bring with me when I venture out in the business world.

How I will creatively apply specific course information as I focus on achieving my short and long term goals that I have set in place for my future, I would have to stay disciplined and focused on what is more important to me. I will continue to use that goals that I created in your class and make any changes that may need to be updated as each goal is accomplished or needs adjusted in time or goal. I feel if I stay on it and stay positive on what I want my outcome to be, I know I will be able to creatively apply my specific goals to achieve my short and long-term career and educational goals.
