Avoiding discrimination

This means that nobody - including the government - can try to end your life. It also means that you have the right to be protected if your life is at risk.

There are two types of right to life decisions to take in to account: Involuntary this is when a person is so sick they cannot make a decision for themselves and therefore their next of kin has to make the decision.

Voluntary: This is when a person’s life taking with permission of another person i.e. they want to die because the person is in so much pain or suffering because of their oncoming death that they effectively sign away there life

Every human has the right to life, any human does to have the right to kill another human being. There are a lot of debates about right to life through subjects such as Capital punishments, abortions, self-defence, war and euthanasia.

All humans are entitled to right to life. It is important to treat all the homeless equal and give each and every one of them a right to life. Some people say it is okay to have an abortion because it is not yet a baby but other people disagree because they consider them as a living organism, so it would be basically killing a living thing.

Social justice is where in a society there is justice in every aspect of it. It is based on having a society based on equality and solidarity, a society that understand human rights and dignity of humans.

Social justice is used by practitioners and service providers going by the codes of practice and there polices which are applicable to their services.

For example a social worker that works with homeless, it is up to the social worker to supply the homeless individual with food, water and that they also have access to food stamps and healthcare.

A social worker may work with homeless individuals to make sure that they are receiving things that are rightfully theirs such as medical care and financial benefits.
