Solar Radiation

Solar radiation plays a very important part in our everyday lives. Not only in human life but also in several other forms of life. Pretty much all forms of life depend on solar radiation.

In order to know if life can live without solar radiation, you would need to first know what solar radiation is and what role it plays in different life forms. The energy from the sun can be utilized a number of different ways. Direct solar radiation is not always a good thing for our bodies. It is a source of natural energy. It is radiant energy emitted by the sun.

For humans solar radiation is used for heat. Without hear every day would be waking up to below freezing temps. Humans would only last for so long with below freezing temps. Not only do we use solar radiation for heat, but we also depend on it for light. If the sun never rose we would live in a dark and unattractive world. Natural sunlight is a necessity to get around during the day. It would be a terrible thing to have to move around every day with no light. I think it would be impossible to live without any light.

Just as humans need solar radiation so do other life form. Life forms such as plants and animals. Without solar radiation plants would have no sunlight to survive. The sun makes plants grow. And without plant life we would have no harvest to live on. That is how we grow the fruits and vegetables we eat every day. That is how animals survive also. They pretty much live off of the lamb of the land. And if we cannot grow and harvest crops the survival rate is slim to none.

So as you see, survival without solar radiation would not be possible for a long period of time. We would only survive for a little while. We would not be able to live long and productive lives without solar radiation.
