The essay will proffer an insight on how teams operate and function; and how it is possible to integrate effectively into teams and be able to eventually lead them. The writer would censoriously examine and discover the nature of teams, factors that allow either effectively and poorly make up a team and identify theories of motivation and the influence it has on the teams’ cohesiveness and efficiency as well as how leaders can apparently inspire a team and then draw up a conclusion.

The leadership concept and its influence over a team, it’s energetic and efficiency will be evaluated at the same time with how there exist a positive and negative influence by a leader upon the functions of a team.

According to (Huston, 2006), a team comprises of at least the coming together of two people for a specific reason and objective away from background and culture. Some attributes of teams are the relationship building attached to it and the inspiring of individuals to carry on activities, finishing their task, achieving stated targets, project management and handling contract which depends on the team (Hannagan, 2008).

The achievement of team objectives is the major priority of member’s; this is a different attitude of a team. The most vibrant business at hand which the team is primarily concerned about is the success of the group in attaining the objectives that they commonly and united in one voice set to achieve. There could be solid personalities, who hold highly organised skills and expertise, and offering themselves to different personal goals which they aspire to attain in the various activities.
