Introduction

The purpose of this report is to adapt risk management plans for four different workplace environments.

The aim of this report is to raise awareness about the workplace health and safety issues, identify hazards and offer recommendations on eradicating or condensing these hazards.

Scope

This report is intended to list identified hazards found within four common workplaces. This report will enhance on the top five hazards for each workplace environment. Control measures will be recommended to eliminate or reduce their impact and overall, improve the health and safety for the workers within these environments.

Methods

The research obtained for compiling this report was largely established utilising the internet and different search methods. To ensure sufficient information about each workplace was provided, Wikipedia was used to define the type of work conducted in such businesses.

The hazards identified came from both internet research in where there was substantial documentation on the WH&S aspects within these different types of workplaces, and personal experiences in the workforce, therefore being able to identify different types of hazards.

The risk assessment and control implementation came from studies of OCHS Intro Health and Safety Risk Management and prior knowledge.

Dry Cleaners
