Abstract

Now, Kudler Fine Foods has many processes include payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable and inventory. Recently, Kudler Fine foods took a decision to improve the previous processes through using accounting information systems. As “Learning Team Group D” we recommended improvements to the company accounting information system to assist improving current processes. Our recommendation to Kudler Fine Foods is to ask a software company to provide tailored software according to the company needs to assist in improving the company processes and to enable the company to use the e-commerce. .The “Learning Team Group” provided flow charts to capture the flow of data from each of the accounting processes and some other recommendations.

We can say that the industry – specific software has a great development, variety and getting more and more popular. Today, we found that software companies offer wide range of classifieds solutions. So, the customers can choose from major options: to ask a software company to provide the company with a tailored software or buy ready made software. All options have a right to exist. Most of the customers likes the advantages of ready made saying that ready made software tends to be much better for its quality and ready made software developers can afford many services, development for low cost and it is to use directly after a short time of training.

On the other hand, tailored companies offer more flexibility for quality assurance, training and testing.
