ACKNONLEDGEMENT
I wish to thank the human resource manager and the chief engineer for giving me the chance to enhance my knowledge, through the plant, in the field of electrical (power option). I wish also to pass my regards to the electrical department team especially my supervisor Mr. P. Gicheru, Mr. Kamunde, the mechanical department team esp. Mr. Kimamu due to their categorical continuous training through which I’ve come to learn such much so far. It is said that knowledge is transitional and so did they give it out willingly. Thus then shall we also pass it to other interested parties.
Much thanks also to the university for creating such a program for us to gain hands on experience within and without our course field.
OBJECTIVES
* To acquire hands on experience within the industrial environs.
* To relate and apply the theoretical experience into the practical, real and ideal situations
* Understanding the general process of power production, transmission to utilization.
* To learn and come up with new innovations and improvements in the industrial sector and in line with the vision 2030 and MDG goals.
* Enable me to embrace traits and virtues necessary on the ground.
