The most recent story on my internet search engine nationwide manhunt for escaped Inmate from a Detroit jail. This news story caught my eye immediately simple because in the first two sentences of this news story it stated that he “walked out of jail”. The authorities did not notice Rocky Marquez, 34, was missing from a Detroit jail until five days after he walked out the front door undetected. He simply switched wristbands with another fellow inmate that resembled him and the type of body built as him.

The report was not detailed at all, but it did cover most important highlights of the story. It stated why he was in prison and that he had previously walked out of a Phoenix jail eight months ago. They also stated that his criminal record includes drug smuggling, perjury and witness tampering. He was awaiting extradition to Phoenix when he escaped last week.
