My experience at capital has been really good so far. I’ve made new friends and got some old ones back. When I moved up here and I attended I didn’t know anybody and I was really lonely, until one day I passed on the 2nd floor and I saw Marie-Ange and her mother. Marie Ange mom taught me at school and me and Marie Ange went to school together. It was such a joy seeing them here because I was thinking thank god I found someone from my island. I also met Miss Phillips one of my mentors, and I met amazing friends that were there for me through anything. Now that’s what you call real friends. Sutania, Marie-Ange, Connie, Deidra, Fabian, and the list go one. Not forgetting out big sister Roxanne who helped us through class and help us see the real meaning of friendship and how family works. For the new comers you guys will have fun. I have grown to like Jeanette and she is an amazing woman. As far as my classes goes, I have done online classes and in class. My online classes I really love them because you can do them on your own time once you meet up with the dead line. I am currenty doing my pre req’sfor nursing and my mentors and Jeanette has helped me a lot as to what classes to chose and so forth. After im done with my pre reqs I want to transfer to a four year college to complete my bachelors. I hope you guys have as much fun as I have had at capital.
