Jesus and Mohammad Paper

To this day Mohammad and Jesus both are known to still have their significant roles all over the world. There are many people in the United States and beyond that follow both religions Islam and Christianity. Muslims are known as the people to follow Mohammad, and people who follow Jesus are known as Christians. Jesus and Mohammad both have achieved many tasks that were similar in their lives, but they also had many differences. Throughout this paper I would love to explain the similarities and the differences, I will even be talking about their history from the day they were born to the day they passed away. Later on throughout the paper I would like to compare the two from their deaths, followers, beliefs, but I would like to start off by talking about the birth of Muhammad along with Jesus.

The birth of Jesus was in Bethlehem before the “Common Era” to a man named Joseph and the Virgin Mary. Joseph and Mary had traveled to Bethlehem just to give birth to Jesus, and when the birth happened it happened in a stable. Mary decided to name him “Jesus”, which the meaning of “Jesus” is known as the “God Saves.”Many of the shepherds that were poor came to the stable to offer their respect as well as the acceptance of Jesus being their “Savior.” Nobody has much documentation of Jesus before the age of 12 other then his birth, and it is also known that his mother was a virgin when he was conceived by the Holy Spirit through Immaculate Conception, and that his father was a carpenter. When Jesus was 12 he traveled along with his parents to Jerusalem for the Passover. John the Baptist had baptized Jesus at the age of thirty, and then within the years of his thirties the ministries began to teach him about the word of God, how to love each other, and how we should live.
