Images by Diane Cass Breast feeding your baby, or not, is one of the most deeply personal decisions you can ever make. Yet EVERYONE, even strangers on the street, want to weigh in on the matter and influence your decision. Here's how to turn down all the noise of these insistent voices and find what is right for you and your baby. Follow this simple excercise...

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Notepad

Pencil or Pen

Highlighter

Step 1

ORGANIZE YOUR THOUGHTS - Capture those swirling thoughts and ideas to make your decision more manageable. Get your notepad and draw a line down the center of the page, making two columns. Title one side PROS and the other CONS

Step 3

Breast Feeding

LIST THE PROS - List all of the PROS (positive aspects or benefits) you can think of for breast feeding. You might want to make categories under PROS, like; Benefits to Me, Benefits to Baby, Benefits to Lifestyle, Other Benefits. List everything you can think of.

Categorize in the same way as you did the PROS Column so that they can be compared side-by-side. Your list may be longer on one side...
