General Purpose : To inform.

Specific Purpose : At the end of my speech, the audience will be able to identify the benefits of grape seeds extract.

Central Idea : Grape seeds extract offers several benefits to us such as health benefits, antioxidant benefits as well as anti-cancer benefits.

I.Introduction

A. Attention material: With a unique combination of crunchy texture and sweet, grapes have become extremely popular throughout the world. It can be eaten as a refreshing snack or used in vegetables and fruit salad. It can also be consumed fresh or preserved, be canned into jellies, crushed to prepare juice and even dried to prepare raisins.

B. Tie to the audience: Before I continue, I would like to ask how many of you love eating grapes. I am very sure that most of you love it. But, do you eat the seeds? Probably not right? Right now I can see a lot of question marks on top of your heads asking ‘can grape seeds be eaten?’

C. Credibility material: Before I go straight to the main topic of my speech today, I kindly want to share an experiment conducted using mice as experimental model showing that grape seeds extract triggers DNA damage in the cancer cells and exhibits the necessary repair mechanism used by the cells to regenerate and multiply.

D. Preview: I will explain three benefits that grape seeds can offer to us such as it is good for health, it contains antioxidants and it also has anti-cancer benefits.
