The Predicament

Carl Robins was a newly hired campus recruiter for ABC. He had been working for the company only a mere six months. Towards the approach of his sixth month at the company, Carl took on his first recruitment effort. Upon his first recruitment effort, he ended up hiring 15 new trainees to work for a women by the name of Monica Carrols. During that month of April, Monica Carrols was currently working in her present job position as the Operations Supervisor. Mr. Robins had later scheduled an orientation for all of Ms. Carrols’s newly hired trainees to take place on June 15th of that year. Mr. Robins was hoping he could get the orientation processed moving as smoothly and efficiently as possible, and to have Ms. Carrols’s newly hired trainees working by the following month of July. This task, a common procedure, may have been a little too rushed for a first time campus recruiter as Carl Robins. In the preceding month of May, Ms. Carrols contacted Mr. Robins to discuss training schedule, orientation, policy booklets, drug tests, manuals, and an assortment of other standard orientated material that he would need to establish with the new trainees. Mr. Robins, being new himself and eager to impress, told Ms. Carrols that everything would be alright, and that he would take care of getting all the new hires acquainted. Mr. Robins was starting to stack his plate pretty high for have only been at the company for six months. After a long Memorial Day weekend, Mr. Robins came back to the office feeling well rested and ready to pull out and get started on the process of finalizing the paper work for the new hires orientation. Soon though, quickly after starting to look up the files Mr. Robins became very alarmed.
