Kudler Fine Foods needs to do additional market research in order to reached a larger scale of the market and have higher profitability. Having a more interacted website not as simple adding more pictures of the bread, meat & seafood, produce and wines they offer (Apollo Group). Adding an order online to its website may help boost sales and bring in customers who like to shop online and pick up their order within a time limit. This feature if the right research it’s done correctly can speed up sales, eliminating lines within the store. Having coupons available to its customers on line so they can print out would be a great asset. Kudler Fine Foods needs to do research in building a better website and see what great sales can come up from this research. So many companies benefit in having a website where people can experience the same feeling as being in the store shopping.
Competitive intelligence is the monitoring of Kudler Fine Foods competitors. Kudler Fine Foods has to determine what their business rivals will do before they do it. Kudler Fine Foods Strategically needs to gain knowledge of their competitor’s plans and business strategy to counter their plans. Kudler Fine Foods needs to fine an approach on how to strategically use competitive intelligence to achieve an advantage to see how the strategy can be formulated. A fortune 500 company survey showed that 55% of companies make use of competitive information for business strategy. Competitive intelligence would help Kudler Fine Foods have a strategy in keeping up to date with its competitors and coming up with better advertisement and marketing plan. This kind of strategy helps Kudler Fine Foods have the upper hand and keeping their sales lower or better specials that their competitors.
