Hello, my name is Mindy Gardner, I live in Winnemucca Nevada. I have 6 children that range from age 10 to age 3. I work full time at Winners Hotel and Casino as a Vault cashier. I am looking forward to attending school online for the convenience that it offers.

I attended grade school at Grass Valley Elementary School in Winnemucca Nevada where I had the opportunity to compete in the junior Olympics. I competed in the 1600 meter race which I placed second. I raced in several other running events which I placed first, second and third in. I enjoyed my elementary school years as there was so much to learn and do. I enjoyed the fourth grade the most for the simple fact the teacher was awesome and made learning in classroom very enjoyable.

I attended Winnemucca Junior High school for 6th, 7th and 8th grades. This was a change in pace for I had 7 different classes a day with 7 different teachers. I was an evolved with the track team throughout middle school where I competed in the endurance races such as the 3200 meter race as well as the 1600 meter. For the last 2 years I placed first in both the 3200and the 1600 which was a great accomplishment for me. My favorite subject was US History. I gained so much information and knowledge about the United States after taking this class that it gave me a new found respect for everyone who was involved in making this country what it is today.

I attended Albert Lowry High School in Winnemucca Nevada for the first two years of high school. I do have to say I struggled a little with these two years due to some family problems at home which greatly affected me in all aspects of my life at that time. I later finished High school at C O Bastian High School in Caliente Nevada where I later graduated from in December of 1997. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
