The Broadway Café Making Business Decisions

The Broadway Café has introduced information technology as a way to

improve the service and stay up with the 21st century. I will use this technology to develop and implement a database for the business. It will keep track of all products, inventory, employees information, and payroll.

The variables that I would want in my data mart to enhance my business and keep it up to date is product cost which I would rank number one. Not only would I take into consideration the cost of the labor required to deliver a service to a customer but also compensation. That would include payroll taxes, and employee benefits.

The products price would rank as number two. I would set a price that is valued to both my customers and the business. Making a price to high or too low can stop the business from growing. It can also affect sales and the flow of cash. I would take under consideration the benefits my products offers to , the customers and how the price effects their thinking of buying something. When I set a price I must remember that I have to make more money than the original price of the product. I also have to compare my prices to my competitors so my pricing is not to high or low.
