It is said that Spain is the twelfth largest economic country in the world, and the sixth largest in Europe. Spain is currently populated by over 47 million individuals. Spain is a Spanish-speaking European country that has its share of growth in population, job rate, and financially within the past decade. Spain was in formation in the 15th century. Spain’s currency is in Euros; i.e. 1 Euro = 100 eurocent. Spain only has experienced in growth in a lot of areas, they have always fluctuated when it comes to looking at the past years due to the economy being rough.

Spain’s economy has fluctuated over the years. From 2009 to 2010 their purchasing-power-parity per capita GDP has jumped from 29,664.020 to 29,880.607, which is growth. From 2010 to 2011, their capita GDP grew from 29,880.607 to 30,625.747; which is another step in growth. However, in 2012 the capita GDP dropped down to 30,315.481 from 30,625.747; which isn’t a huge drop, but it still suffered a drop in numbers. Over the years from 2009 to 2012, the population has also dropped significantly, maybe the cause for the capita GDP dropping. The growth rate of a country measures the growth and goods in the economy. “The Gross Domestic Product growth rate measures the increase in value of the goods and services produced by an economy. Economic growth is usually calculated in real terms or inflation-adjusted terms, in order to net out the effect of changes on the price of the goods and services produced.
