1. What are some of the ways that IT has become “pervasive”?

Technology has facilitated the commercial and industrial operations so managers and businessmen communicate with each other through various means of technological communications such as Email ,Telephone, Fax and Mobile. However, IT has not only become pervasive in the workplace but can also be found at home and in the public area. At home students can use internet to do their duties. At public aria for example Airports, cafes, and other public locations are also already offering wireless network access, which allows individuals to use computer networks while walking or eating lunch. The social life is facilitated by IT. Cell phones, text messages, social websites, emails, messengers, and other forms of digital communication have become more pervasive in last years and have replaced with face-to-face social interaction.

2. What kinds of portable IT can help employees work more efficiently and effectively?

Portable technologies allow employees to work outside of their workplaces at home, at a client organization, or on the public place .Moveable microcomputers and handheld devices (BlackBerry and IPad) have become so useful and cheap. They can use it when they travelling for business so they can gain access to company resources as needed.

3. What kinds of IT can help support teams when team members work at different locations?

Communication technology is the fundamental IT that can help teams when team members work at different locations .It facilitates the flow of information among the individuals of the team. This may include telephone and Internet network as well as devices and software that uses in the networking. Some firms provide means to their employees in their locations to access resources that exist on this network.
