Chadric’s Product Development Proposal

To begin, my proposed business plan for the Eco-Foam product is first developing the engineering details. Investigating what all costs for the product are as well as the materials and space it takes to produce the product accomplishes this. With the Eco-Foam product its not easy to find information based on competitors because it is the first of its kind, but we do know that we want to keep cost low and pass the savings on to the customer.

Another part of the business plan is the marketing aspect. The marketing plan of this would include placing this product in major retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target, as well as the smaller local ones as well. After the marketing plan has been developed we can go into the testing stage. This includes actually making the product and testing its popularity with a small audience, which can be done here at the school. After receiving feedback from the test groups we will make any adjustments needed and move to the production stage. Lastly the production and quality management stage is where the Eco-Foam will be mass-produced and distributed to stores nationwide. Striving for quality by testing the product periodically for any defects or improvements that can be made to it to keep up with competition and stay at the forefront of innovation will be a continued priority.
