Course Syllabus
Course Prerequisites
All core business and economics courses required to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. If you have not successfully completed these prerequisite courses then I would kindly ask that you drop this class to enable a qualified student to enroll. If at a later date an administrative audit reveals that a student is unqualified to attend this class, that student will be administratively dropped from the class. (For those that do not currently qualify and cannot attend, I do hope to see you at a later date when such prerequisites have been successfully completed.)
Course Objectives
This course serves as a bridge between your prior studies and your future business careers. It introduces basic concepts, frameworks and methodologies useful to managers responsible for formulating and implementing business-level and corporate-level strategy that ensure the success of the organization. Principally taught through the case method, the course places you in the role of general managers confronting important strategic issues. You must find realistic solutions to complex, multifaceted business problems.
