Topic: compare or contrast e-books and paper books.

Reading is one of the most favored ways for human to enrich their knowledge. Paper books and e-books are two ways of numerous popular choices. They are probably thought to be alike; however, e-books offer more advantages than paper books.

The first difference is that e-books are cheaper than paper books. About 10 years ago, a novel book could be bought with $7 but today it costs $21, more than 3 times to the one in the past. Paying a large amount of money such as $21 to own a novel book from the bookstore is too expensive compared with $2 for downloading it from the Internet. Beside that, the readers can even read e-books free on a lot of websites.

Secondly, reading e-books has more benefits in load. For example, when you are traveling, it is more comfortable for you to bring one or two paper books without worrying about the load. Conversely, it will be a problem if you want to bring numerous books because they are too heavy to carry. In this situation, choosing e-books is a smart choice. With an iPad, a long list of books is available for you to enjoy without thinking about hard carrying.

Last but not least, saving time is an advantage of e-books compared with paper books. To buy a paper book, readers probably spend a lot of time for choosing their suitable books. It is likely to take readers as least 30 minutes or even a whole day in the bookstore to find which their favorite books are. On the other hands, you can figure out the books you like and buy them with only 5 minutes.

In short, each of them has its traits, but e-books have more benefits than paper books. The price, the load and the time saving are some of things that readers should consider before deciding to purchase e books or paper books.
