3. INTRODUCTION

Education is a fundamental right of any citizen in any country. Education is all about earning knowledge, developing behavior and character. It should be available for any one in the country regardless of what race, color, and culture. When this benefit is denied to a specific group, measures must be taken to protect its educational right.

Education was a valuable thing for America's youth in nineteenth century. According to educational ruling of Supreme Court (Plessy v. Ferguson issue) in 1896 education was limited only to white people in America. In 1950 a group of activists filed a petition on segregation in schools according to the skin color. In 1954 they where successful in abolishing the board educational system and they got the right for equal chances for education.
