Topic: Restricting the use of artificial sweeteners.

Research question: Should companies be allowed to use artificial sweeteners in pre-packaged foods and beverages?

Working thesis statement: Artificial sweeteners should be banned from pre-packaged goods; they can cause health problems and side effects, as well as containing harsh chemicals.

Research plan: In my paper; I am focusing mainly on health issues associated with the use of artificial sweeteners. Considering the genre of my paper and my main focus on health throughout, I plan on exploring a few well known and credible health websites such as Livestrong.com and FitDay.com. I will also use the Google Scholar resources for book reference and credible statistical data.
