Future Trend of Crisis Intervention in the Human Services Delivery System

Crisis intervention is considered part of the human service delivery system. It has evolved into the human service field during events in the 1970s. Considering the work for crisis intervention can be needed in many forms, there are volunteers and trained professionals who take place in crisis intervention. Considering that works has been done since the 1940s for study and research on crisis intervention, there are many models that can be used for such work currently. Agencies offer services for crisis intervention and many insurance agencies support the form of treatment for crisis intervention. With manage health care, treatment may become more difficult to come by, and if so, a client would need to expect long wait times. For the reason that information on clients may need to be shared as well as treatment options, agencies should share information for the reason if a treatment may be recently discovered and works well than others. In this case, people are getting full service and the appointments are available and online counseling is available. With technology continuing to advance, the use of live counselors and other human service workers may not be needed for crisis intervention. Communities in the future can create centers that support those without insurance that have been through a crisis. Crisis intervention has grown to be a part of the human service system with several employees and volunteers; crisis intervention is run with many models that have been presented by these individuals. In the future, the use of technology may drop the use of live counseling sessions but if managed health care brought in would create a long wait time.
