Recently, after 2002, almost all people in KSA have been talking about the subject of Saudization because Dr. Ghazi Al-Qosaibi, who's a well- known man, has become the minister of labor and made a new strategy for the problem of Saudi unemployment, from which lots of people in KSA have been suffering. The strategy which the government of KSA adopted has focused on lessening the large number of non-Saudi laborers, because KSA has a huge number of them, which really affects the operation of Saudization of jobs. This is like the heart of this strategy, as the minister said in his lecture which was published in a special book called "Towards a Standardized Strategy to Fight Unemployment," but the strategy has other things, like to change the predominant idea about all the lowest jobs, which considers these jobs to be unacceptable for Saudi citizens, and also to encourage the Saudi youth to accept these kinds of jobs and work in them if they don’t have any qualifications, skills or other opportunities. Additionally, it makes cooperation between the government and the private sector to train the youths who're like to work in this kind of job instead of foreign laborers, helps them to get jobs and makes a good working environment for them.

The minister mentioned the means of lessening the large number of non-Saudi laborers. It's to raise their salary and all their costs in order to approach the Saudi laborer's cost and force the market indirectly to deal with them, as when he said "Clearly, the heart of our strategy is a tangible lessening operation of the importation of foreign labor. And clearly, the means of lessening is to raise the cost of a foreign laborer in order to approach the cost of a Saudi laborer."

Actually, the Saudi youths have several problems. The first one is about our education (I'm a Saudi writer) because it's not suitable for the market's requirements nowadays, lacks any real training and doesn't encourage us enough to work in...
