Head Turners

What is a head turner? Based on my knowledge, a head turner is somebody that can catch attention of other people. There are no specific means on how he or she does it but being a head turner is something extraordinary. Most people limitedly regard head turners to good-looking persons. I agree that beautiful or handsome persons are head turner for you really appreciate how physically gifted they are. Even though head turners are commonly labeled to the good-looking, the former should not be solely tagged to the latter. The concept of good-looking does not fully encompass the concept of head turners because it could also be the other way around. We may also label the awkward or peculiar as head turners for they are extraordinary. As long as they attract focus or attention, they can be head turners.

There are several ways to be attention-getter. Aside from being good, you can also grab a fair share of attention by being bad. I do not encourage people to be bad in any way but it is like natural to notice things or people that are bad. Think about how bad personalities or antagonists appeal on televisions and other media. They really grab the people’s attention. One way to become bad is to appear as bad-looking. It does not necessarily mean that you become a wicked person in action, thought, word etc. By bad-looking, it means that you look physically awful. One way to achieve a bad look is to dress up awfully. A bad get-up may catch the attention of other people because it is something odd or peculiar. If that is the case, I believe you can be labeled as a head turner.

Speaking of bad dresses and attention-grabbers, I remember something from my distant past. It took place around two years ago. It was a Saturday then and I happened to wake up a bit late than what I am supposed to. It then came to me that I need to go out of the house and I am nearly late for our group’s rendezvous.
