I choose the “Farm Girl” to discuss. The writer is Jessica Hemauer. She writes about her life starting as a young girl who has many responsibilities to work in the farm. It was different from many other little girls who have simple life. I like many parts in this story. For example, at the first of story she says “I hit the snooze button, hoping desperately that the cows will feed and milk themselves.” It makes some funny and makes the story interesting. I think the most important point is in the back of story. She notices what was her family taught her in the past life and why she becomes successful. She acknowledged herself in one night when she looked into the mirror and start thinking about her past life. She learned how to manage her time and had a lot of responsibility.

In paragraph one to five, the main point is to describe Jessica’s family’s routine. It’s about when they are waking up?, What do they have to do?, and how hard to do their work? In paragraph six and seven illustrate specific chores of Jessica. It tells about which task she like or dislike. Paragraph eight tells about their breakfast. I like the way she write this paragraph because I can imagine how good that would smell and taste after working as hard as she did on the farm. In paragraph nine to fifteen are about her school life and why she feels different with other? Paragraph sixteen to nineteen are the change of her life because her father allows her to play in the basketball team and has more activities in school. Paragraph twenty is about what is she notice about her past life. Even though, it was different from others but it made her have more efficiency than others. And the last paragraph is about how other people thinking of her and she says like she proud to be a farm girl.

I think the writer’s...
