Love is...
Love is not a feeling,
Please stop misinterpreting.
Why don’t you try thinking?
And search for love’s real meaning.
Some people say,
Hearts thump when prince charming comes their way.
Well try to look at it this way;
Doesn’t your heart beat every day?
Well lovebirds, listen to me,
And please read the bible so you’ll see,
It says “Love your parents.”
Now try to think how love’s used in that sentence.
It is an action word,
We were taught English, oh Lord!
Still don’t get me?
Try going back to elementary.
Love isn’t a feeling or emotion,
For Pete’s sake, it’s an action,
It’s not about how someone gives you a heart attack,
Love refers to how you act.
Think! Use your mind.
There’s something I would like to remind,
Feelings can’t speak for you,
But it’s because of action that you can say “I love you”.
Well other than that,

But is right in front of your little eyes.
Jesus didn’t die for us just for fun,
He hung there for love because it had to be done.
Love is a decision you have to fulfil,
It’s not a feeling, but an act of your will.
So my dear, lend me an ear,
Pay attention so you’ll hear.
There’s no such thing as “falling in love”,
It’s a false perception we must get rid of.
When you start to “feel love”,
It’s not what you’re thinking of.
It’s simply infatuation,
Another phase of attraction.
So couples, even if you’re all lovey-dovey,
Overflowing with sweetness and is so cheesy,
Let me tell thee,
Your infatuation doesn’t last for an eternity.
Love’s not about how someone makes you happy,
And how he makes your heart beat rapidly.
When you make a choice, action or decision, no matter how risky,
Then I can say, you love that person dearly.
That’s why I find couples that have grown old together very amazing,
They surpassed all the fighting and arguing.
Even if their “in love” state turned grey just like their hair,
they’re...
